The Polka Dotted Teacher: Feeling, Seeing, Hearing, Tasting, and Smelling Feelings mentor text for poetry

September 11th Remembrance Day can be difficult to talk about with your students, but focusing on caring for one another and creating a peaceful place to live is an easy focus. This easy activity asks children to pledge to make the world a better place by helping create a "Peace Pledge" bulletin board for the classroom. Have students write how they plan to spread peace.

Have students write how they plan to spread peace on a small piece of paper, and attach a Patriotic Stars Cut-Out with the student’s name on it. Use CTP’s Dot-to-Dot Letters and Red, White, & Blue Border to create a display.
