You don’t see the Queen crying very often. This was the first Remembrance Day service after her mother died – the Queen mother used to lay the wreath every year. Remembrance Sunday is marked on the second Sunday in November. It is the day traditionally put aside to remember those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.
