As viewed from the north, looking south. King William Street is running down the centre of the photograph. To the right of King William Street along North Terrace are some of Adelaide's most famous buildings - Parliament House (on the corner), Festival Centre (on the banks of the Torrens) and the stunning Adelaide Railway Station prior to redevelopment that basically hid the station from view.

B 1800 Adelaide Steamship Company Limited building, Currie Street, Adelaide,south side. This company was incorporated in South Australia in 1875. This attractive building, with its archway and columns, exudes confidence. The building's frontage is 19 yards and its left side is 50 yards west of King William Street. John Martin's Christmas Parade.
Adelaide in 1974. John Martin was taken over by David Jones, and the site was redeveloped. They still put the giant Santa on the DJ's store.

The South Australia Aquatic and Leisure Centre, also known as the State Aquatic Centre, is a swimming venue located in the Adelaide suburb of Oaklands Park in South Australia. The centre is managed by the YMCA on behalf of the Government of South Australia.
