This week, we’re featuring a drink that may be familiar with fellow Canadians.  Known as the national cocktail of Canada, the Caesar Cocktail, this drink’s building blocks are usually vodka, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lime juice, spices (for the rim of the glass) and clam-tomato juice, be it the standard Mott’s Clamato or one of the newer brands.  Has anyone tried this one out yet? Tired of the long work week?  Here’s a deliciously refreshing underrated drink that will blow your socks off (if  you’re unprepared).   Mix 2 ounces of vodka, 1 ounce of Kahlúa (any coffee liqueur will do, but Kahlúa is standard), and an ounce of heavy cream or half-and-half (Milk will do in a pinch). You may also add chocolate, if you wish.  And then tell us what the White Russian tasted like for you? Sazerac is a local New Orleans variation of a cognac or whiskey cocktail, named for the Sazerac de Forge et Fils brand of cognac brandy that served as its original main ingredient.  Ingredients: 1/4 oz Absinthe, One sugar cube, 1 1/2 oz Rye whiskey or Cognac, Three dashes Peychaud's Bitters  Let us know what you think!
