Black Style in the Victorian Era, 1837 - 1901

This board displays the image of Blacks in the Victorian Era. I am a strong proponent of citing sources - the photographs lose their significance and relevance when there is no context to my mind. Even an attempt to date the photos using costume history is helpful.
