Anzac Day art I created. Background is cut up pieces of The Ode and The Last Post, covered with a wash of water colours. Children were then able to add as many or as little poppies as they wanted with red and green paper. They then used sharpies to outline their poppies and stems.
The poppy wreath the kids & I made for ANZAC day. It kind of just evolved as we went and turned out pretty good! We covered thick cardboard with tin foil & wound red ribbon around it before glue gunning on the patty case poppies. Their black centre was drawn with marker pen & their stems were painted and cut up popsicle sticks. Was a lot of fun!
