The N’Amerind (London) Friendship Centre is a non-profit organization committed to the promotion of physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual well-being of Native people and in particular, Urban Native People.
Byron Optimist Challenger Baseball is a baseball program for physically and mentally challenged children (boys and girls 6 yrs or older). Games will be played Sunday evenings at the Byron Sports Complex. A dedicated "Buddy" system of volunteers is used, with volunteers needed from ages 12 & up.
A League of Our Own Soccer Skills Summer Program is for London and surrounding area special needs community. The program is fun and engaging. It is tailored to focus on each athletes individual skills. Registration is now open for the 2015 season.
"In my Kindermusik studio, I lead music classes for families filled with singing, dancing, laughing, instrument playing, and storytelling—all backed by Kindermusik International’s team of early childhood music experts and the latest research on how children learn best. In addition, I partner with parents to support their role as a child’s first and best teacher by providing tools, tips, and resources to understand how (and why!) to use music and movement throughout the week."
2017 - Tidal Waves is a volunteer organization run by students at Western University. We provide affordable swimming lessons to those with a range of physical and intellectual disabilities in a safe and fun environment.
