Snowman Kit: I made these for my kids last year for Christmas. Felt hat, wooden wheels for buttons, fake coal for eyes, wood beads for mouth, plastic carrot for nose, real corn cob for pipe, fleece scarf, and dowel arms for mitten hands. They fit in an inexpensive plastic sweater box for storage. GREAT FUN....all you add is snow. Wanting to “keep him occupied,” Brigid started filling cartons with colored water and setting them outside in anticipation of Daniel’s visit. By the time the young couple arrived, Burton had prepared 500 multicolored ice bricks. An engineering student from New Zealand, Daniel rose to Burton’s challenge and got to work in the backyard.

I got to watch lots of t.v. and in my jammies. Woot! On to my latest project, except I made this last year so I'm kinda lying. I never got to share this with you guys because of lots of computer problems. Anywho, I made a snowman using two floral vases. I was inspired to make this snowman after I…

Snow girl

Girl version of snowman. 20 centimeters. Though she may not be cute, if you make a boyfriend for her, she'll be happy. Each part needs seam allowance. I used polyester fleece which is stretch just a little. Sew the body and legs. Stuff, and put them together. Make the head. Stick 2 sheets of felt together, and cut out twigs. Sew up the middle (a-b,c-d, and e-d). Don't sew b-c. It's the opening. Sew around the face (d-f-d) with twigs together. Turn inside out. Stuff it with polyester…
