Ok so yes I know that I am behind (very behind) with my #100daysofwatercolors project... BUT. I will do 100 days. Or at least 100 watercolor things. Progress not perfection right? Haha . On to why I lettered this. This is something I wrote in my Bible after reading Matt 9:13. The Pharisees (self righteous nose in the air punks) asked Jesus' followers why on earth he was hanging out with "sinners". In this question alone we can grasp the fact that the Pharisees basically thought they were…
We forgot to take a picture in the woods but this was after so it'll have to do as our Christmas tree cutting photo :) What a lovely day with family lots of teasing corn chowder strawberry shortcake and snow at the very end! I love the feeling of Christmas. PS can you see baby busting out of my coat?
Just sayin but this is a sweet deal. The sale is on through Monday! Click the link in my bio to check it out. . ALSO did you see I have listed handlettered Christmas cards? They're personalized to you and pretty pretty if I do say so myself. (Check out my last post for a sample)
Custom Christmas cards are here! Check it at the link in my profile :)
So I memorized a lot of popular verses as a kid. Most of them I memorized the words and not the verses themselves. The older I get the more meaningful those verses become and I am very grateful for that. Psalm 23 is one of those. Such a beautiful poem.
Current situation. I seriously feel so motivated when I finally accomplish things I've wanted to do for a long time! Painting is going to become MUCH harder in March so I'm working my buns off to get this done as soon as I can. If you were looking for a push to do that project you've wanted to do for a while get off instagram and GO DO IT.
So when I read this verse a couple weeks ago it really got me thinking. This verse tells me to pray earnestly that God will send people to share the gospel. How much am I actually praying for this specifically? Um like barely ever. What else is there that I'm directly told to pray for that I'm not? Well prayer has always been hard for me. It is so easy to skip. But dang that os dangerous! Prayer is SO POWERFUL and I am missing out on sooo much blessing by not taking advantage of it. So soon…
Two years ago we were sweating to death and it was one of the best days of my life. I love you hun and cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together. I am so thankful for you
Working on part 2 of my Psalm 139 painting. I wish the lighting was a little better so you could see the color properly. This one is a tad bit more pink than the last. Going to try for an ombre-like effect. We'll see how this goes Day 11
Phewf that was a close one. I messed up one word but unless you watched my stories you probably can't even tell. This is part 1 of what will be a 4 part piece of Psalm 139. "You hem me in behind and before and lay your hand upon me." How comforting it is to know that we are known by God and that He is protecting us on all sides. .
