Indigenous Board Game Design in The Gift of Food

Here's a fun, hands on way to learn all about the five senses in preschool. Use the My Five Senses Preschool Mini Book printable and some popcorn and let preschoolers observe and record all about their five senses.

Children pop popcorn and then record their observations about it for each sense. This relates to From Molecules to Organisms: Structures and Processes. Use their five senses in their exploration and play to gather information.

Oral/Silent Book: I would have my students retell the story after I read it to them. They each will have a Popsicle stick with one of the animals on it. They will have to make the sound that animal makes and say the phrase that the book says.
