Mademoiselle Maurice: installations with paper origami figures. This piece is a tribute to Sadako Sasaki, a Japanese girl who lived the horror of the Hiroshima bomb and its tragic consequences.  Years later, she becames ill because of the atomic event.  She learned of the Japanese legend of 1000 Cranes: to get a wish granted, you have to fold 1000 cranes in paper.
