Traditional Ukrainian dumplings are made with Tvorog; a homemade farmers cheese. This is an even lazier (I mean easier) version. The ricotta cheese is inexpensive and simple, but I do have the recipe for farmers cheese posted.
Also referred to as a relish. Jewish people put tiny amounts on their gefilte fish to make the experience a happy and sad one at the same time. At the Seder, we eat a plain stalk (bitter herb) of horseradish as part of the service.
