Fall has always been my favourite season. The garden’s bounty is ripe and ready, there’s a chill in the air and the colours of fall paint a beautiful palette on the hillsides. There’s no better time to celebrate the fall season than Thanksgiving.
Tonight the spotlight is on the Blue Mountain Pinot Noir. The wine has a light garnet color with red and black fruit. Vanilla and toast compliment cassis and cherry flavors while spicy velvety tannins fill out the 2011 Pinot Noir. Available by the Bottle at Cotto Enoteca. www.cotto.ca
