Contenta means happy. One of the things that made me happy while creating this collection was listening to traditional music from my hometown; it has the power to make me dance and to help me get rid of anything that feels heavy.

A signature Alijuna design featuring multi gemstones and fresh water pearls with 24Kt gold plated beads. All the colours and gemstones used are a curated selection that represent those places and my feelings. These bracelets are a translation of the weekends at my grandma Josefa’s house.

The story behind the Anhelo multi wrap bracelet. A happy girl running and riding her bike all day long in her grandma’s backyard. My grandma was always ready to work and wearing her pearls. During the weekends, she was at home being the mother of 8, cleaning, organizing, receiving friends and family visits.
Let’s find joy in the simplest things in our life and fulfill our soul with love, music, family and positive thoughts.
A view that represents my childhood. Riding my bike in that huge backyard, running with my siblings and cousins, playing baseball, listening to my grandma’s stories, dancing the latin rhythms and sharing moments as a big family, all together. View of Lake Maracaibo from my grandma Josefa’s house.
Connection with my loved ones. “De mi casa me escriben” It is impossible not to feel emotional when I see this picture. It means so much to me, my home, my parents, my family. 2013 was the last time I was there and I can’t wait to visit again. How many family parties we celebrated there? How many happy moments we lived there? How many difficult times went through there? All the time the common denominator was and still is the love for my family.
