Miss Kindergarten: Coin Caterpillars- I think I will make these blank and then have them "stamp" their own coins and write the amount.

TEACHING THE KIDS -"i like money" game - for teaching coin recognition. glue plastic coins to popsicle sticks. students pull out stick + if they name coin, they can keep it. if they pull out a "bankrupt" stick, all sticks go back in the can!

Cool idea to make counting money fun! Just get some loose change, have kids draw arms, legs, and/or other body parts to create their critter then add up the value!

Foldable to show how coins add up to a dollar.

Show me the MONEY! For this foldable, you have to cut each flap. On the inside, the students describe the coins and write how to make a dollar using the coins on the flap. It is great for coin recognition as well as counting money.
