Call Butler creates a transcript of every call you make using ConnectUS. Call Butler analyzes the transcripts using a complex key word search algorithm and uses the information to build your user profile. These transcripts are stored in your inbox and are completely encrypted so only you can access them. Don't want to keep a call? No problem! Just delete it and it's gone for good. Otherwise, we hold on to them for as long as you want us to.
ConnectUS is a web-based phone and messaging service. Our customer profiles offer ConnectUS users a fully customized experience based on their usage, habits, and interests. We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art encryption and security, and on being a lead innovator in the communication market. Currently, ConnectUS is only available to Canadian customers, and functions in both English and French.
ConnectUS provides an online portal for our customers to make phone calls and leave voicemails to any phone number, anywhere! When you share your information through your transcribed calls or our customer survey, we use it to provide you with ads that are tailored to your interests.
To sign-up for ConnectUS, users provide basic personal information such as name, date of birth, phone number, e-mail address, and billing information (for Premium users). Users are then prompted to complete a short survey which ConnectUS users to build their user profile, and help Call Butler get started with evaluating the user on our 12-point personality scale!
Call Butler is the heart of ConnectUS. Using a complex algorithm, Call Butler analyzes your calls and uses key words to build your user profile. This allows ConnectUS to provide our users with a tailored experience every time they log in. Don't worry though - if you don't want to use Call Butler, you can turn it off before you start the call! Your call will not be recorded or transcribed.
ConnectUS collects your internet cookies when you visit our website and uses them for marketing purposes. We send these cookies to trusted third-party marketing companies who direct ConnectUS ads at those who have paid our site a visit. You have the option to turn off cookies in your browser, but without them, we can't give you our best service.
We collect information such as your name, birthdate, phone number, address, and credit card number (for billing purposes). We also collect the information that you give us through making a call with Call Butler turned on. This information allows Call Butler to create your user profile, provide tailored ads, and rank you on the 12-point personality scale. If you are a Premium user, Call Butler will also create entries in the ConnectUS Calendar, which you can sync to your own calendar.
ConnectUS uses a state-of-the-art encryption system that protects all your information from everyone else's eyes (including our employees! We store everything on secure servers and assure our users that their information is completely safe!
ConnectUS will only share users' contact information with our parent company for marketing purposes. As a result, our sister companies will have access to that information, but third party companies that ConnectUS has no connection to will not have any access to user information. If a law enforcement agent comes to us, we require a warrant before handing over any information.
ConnectUS users have 100% control over their accounts and user profiles. Call Butler will rank users on the 12-point personality scale, but if a user disagrees with their ranking, they have the ability to modify their profile. Users can also delete transcripts at any time, or turn off Call Butler so their calls aren't analyzed or recorded.
