Arnie is known for his achievements in para athletics. In 1976 won gold in high jump and gold in long jump breaking both world records, then he broke the previous high jump record by 0.10 m in 1980. In 1981 he set high jump record to 2.08m and long jump to 3.01 m. Arnie only has one leg after losing it at the age of 3. Then he competed in skiing, swimming, volleyball and most notably, track and field despite only having 1 leg.
Alexandre is an alpine skier for Team Canada. He was part of the skiing team at the Vancouver Olympics and won 2 olympic medals and several other championships throughout his career. She played with a men’s professional division 1 swedish team in 08-09, and she has a spot on Canada’s walk of fame
