Two Kmart stores in Waterloo Region are among 40 to close across Canada in the next six months, while two others in Waterloo and Guelph will survive, Hudson's Bay Company announced Monday.

The Waterloo Theatre was built in the early 1930's and features a very nice art deco interior. It showed movies until the mid 1990's. I beleive Pulp Fiction was the last regular theatrical screening. In th late 90's it was re-born as the Waterloo Stage Theatre and features live entertainment like plays and occasionally music. to the right of the waterloo is the silver spur, the local redneck/welfare karaoke bar. the spur was originally a Burger Chef, a popular burger chain in the 60's, then…
