My first experience with Laurel Burch was not her artwork, believe it or not. Years ago, the late 1970's or early 1980's, Laurel Burch bought an incredible Carmel Valley home from my "Godfather",(he was Italian.........). Then, my sister bought me a pair of earrings around that same time. Many years later, I was regularly buying items with her imprints when I discovered her fabrics-Wow! I bought a yard of each new one that came onto the market and before long, had beautiful hanging banners…
