Sweet Bacon-Wrapped Venison Tenderloin : * 2 lbs venison tenderloin (a single deer loin) * lb bacon (plain thin sliced is best) * 3 cups dark brown sugar * 2 cups soy sauce (reg. NOT low-sodium.) * cup white sugar (optional for added sweetness)
The small scale of the deer in this video makes it a great butchering demo. While it may be tough to butcher a full sized whitetail the same exact way, this gives great insight into the anatomy of the cuts that you COULD be getting out of your deer.
