Luis Pantigozo

Pantiogozo is truly an international artist but his roots remain humble. Due in part to his attachment to the land and people of Peru and also because of his illness, Pantigozo is an artist of the people. Most of his subjects emanate from his brothers ranch in Arequipa, where he was born. His main interest is the relationship of the man of the Andes with the land. His paintings spirituality originates in the dual culture (the Western and the Andean culture) that the man of the Andes confronts.
