California Zephyrs meet - 1968 California Zephyrs meeting in the snowy depths of Glenwood Canyon in January, 1968. Taken along the Colorado River from one of the train's five vista-domes. The siding here is at a location called Grizzly, across the canyon from the outlet of Grizzly Creek.

Amtrak "California Zephyr" Train 5 coasts downhill on a chilly February day as it heads for the San Francisco Bay Area. The train is crossing the ravine as it coasts towards one of the famous "SP-style" signal bridges that lie ahead. Also in the consist is one of the former New Jersey Transit "Comet Cars" that were refurbished for use on Amtrak-California's San Joaquin Trains.
