Courvoisier has history back to the launch of the ‘Eiffel Tower’ in 1889. It was a controversial opening, the tower did not fit the Art Nouveau movement, there were a lot of petitions, “We don’t want this horrific tower-looking thing in the middle of France”. What scared Parisians back then has since become the symbol of France and changed the whole face of Paris.
