Tranquille Sanatorium ~ Kamloops, BC - locals say it is haunted. Very interesting history. Actually grew up that all that far from here in Brocklehurst.

Riverview Hospital, Coquitlam, B.C.  -opened in 1913, was also a tuberculosis clinic,most buildings closed by 1997    - voices and footsteps are heard, objects moving on their own, tunnels beneath are haunted as well

Waterfront Station in Vancouver, B.C.  - built by the CPR in 1914; now a major intermodal station for the city  - considered one of the most haunted buildings in Vancouver, there are numerous spirits here  - an old woman in white who glows reaches out for people, in a westside corridor a woman in a flapper dress is seen dancing to phantom music heard from her era, ghostly ladies are witnessed on benches only to disappear  - in 1928 a brakeman fell on the tracks and died and he is still seen

I spent a layover here on my way to Kelowna. Nice enough, but I would have loved to see more of the city than just the view out the front door.

Hatley Castle ~ Vancouver Island ~ Haunted

Hatley Castle, Colwood, British Columbia In Hatley Castle was built in a Tudor style for a British industrialist. It has since been used as a Military College during the World Wars and more recently, a University.

The Bent Mast.  According to the menu, the house was once a rooming home, a brothel, four different restaurants and an erotic art gallery. Apparently a number of ghosts haunt the house. There’s the happy child, a cranky old man who likes to hide things in the kitchen (did have to wait a while for the wine) and an older woman. Rogers Chocolates at 913 Government Street in Old Town is a National Historic Site. It is also Victoria's oldest, most famous and most haunted chocolate shop.    Look for the ghosts of Charles and Leah Rogers, the founders, who often slept in the kitchen of their old store and who reputedly never left.
