Multi-functional Furniture. One of the most obvious benefits of functional furniture in small spaces is space saving. Whether it's being custom built or store bought they are definitely worth the investment. I personally think it's better to have pieces that can be taken apart and either be up against the wall or free standing. To be continued.
Large v. Small Print Wallpaper. Do not be hesitant using wallpaper in a small space at all. If you decide to use wallpaper in your small space you should go with a larger print as opposed to a small print. You can see the difference that they make it in the pic. The Black wallpaper with the smaller print make the room feel small while the Red wallpaper gives the illusion that the room is larger than it is. My Rendering
Height Advantage. Utilize vertical space in small spaces. This is an idea for a powder room or bathroom. I feel like this needs to be the most emphasized part of small spaces. Take advantage of the space that you are given. Use floating shelves from IKEA, frames from the dollar store and mirrors from Target. My Rendering/ Idea
Cluster _ _ _ _. Do not be afraid to fill small spaces with furniture & accessories. do not limit your space. take advantage of vertical space. pictures, lamps on floating shelves, high cabinets for excess storage. often times people are scared to fill the room because it's already small. if you crowd everything either on the floor or close to the floor then you might have a problem. try for even distribution from floor to ceiling. any questions: email@example.com My Rendering/ Idea
First idea. color help. try painting the walls the colors that you feel. most people will try to tell you that certain colors don't really go together or work with each other but i personally feel that design/decor/color selection is all personal preference. try adding different shades of colors to created gradient, even though the colors aren't the same. you won't until you try. just paint over it if you don't like it :)
