Shubenacadie, or, its new name, Sipkekne'katik First Nation is a Mi'kmaq village in the middle of Nova Scotia. The community, struggling with isolation and economic difficulties and over crowding, is proud of its children. They, along with DAREarts, are providing their kids with opportunities to explore the arts and Mi'kmaq culture to instil pride and confidence. Check out their song and music video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xrc6Jj3VFLw www.darearts.com www.darearts.wordpress.com
