From the 1830's to 1996 thousands of Native children were forced to attend residential schools. The Residential schools wanted to turn Native children white, this was already wrong because they were trying to strip the children of their religion and language. Unfortunately many kids had suffered physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. The kid's childhoods were forever ruined. In some cases the children did have fun activities at the schools, but at the end the BAD overpowered the GOOD.
