In areas affected by the South Asian earthquake of October 8, 2005, ADP partnered with Relief Shelter Drive (RSD) to help build shelters. RSD is a grassroots initiative undertaken by a small group of individuals across the United States, United Kingdom and Pakistan.
After the 2010 floods, ADP partnered with UNHCR to deliver emergency shelters to Bhan Saeedabad, Sindh. We also raised over $5,000 for Network for Education and Economic Development Services (NEEDS) to install hand-pumps for clean drinking water.
In the summer of 2010, Pakistan was ravaged by the worst natural disaster in its history. ADP coordinated with its partners on the ground to identify the most deserving organizations to help.We set up a Flood Redevelopment Fund for rehabilitation of those affected and helped provide immediate relief.

After the success of the construction of a model village at Kot Addu in Basti Ghareebabad, ADP is really excited to support Sahara for Life Welfare Trust in the construction of another model village in Basti Dayat, ADP will be building an 12-14 houses to help families affected by the floods of 2010.
A family we hope to help, with our partner Sahara for Life Welfare Trust, as we help expand the model village at Basti Dayat. This is a small village in the Muzzafargarh district with no access to electricity and other basic infrastructure (in addition to being largely ignored by major aid agencies in the aftermath of the floods in 2010). The town is very close to the banks of two rivers, so the damage from the floods to people’s houses was quite severe.
