Today is #worldspineday! Did you know that the spine consists of 3 major regions: Cervical spine: typically there are 7 vertebrae here and this is usually referred to as the neck. Thoracic spine: typically there are 12 vertebrae here and this is usually referred to as the back, both upper and mid back. Lumbar spine: typically referred to as the lower back, there are typically 5 vertebrae here. Most back pain conditions are felt at the lower lumbar vertebrae or at around the SI joints.
Let's talk shoulder mobility. Do you have tight shoulders? I definitely do and have always struggled with them. 😵It wasn't until I saw pictures that I realized just how bad it was!
