Paleo + Vegan = Pegan. Pegan recipes includes animal proteins and lots of veggies and some fruit. Pegan recipes are free from grains, legumes, dairy and eggs.
The Pegan Diet Explained = Paleo + Vegan (in my case, I eat mixture of Paleo & Mediterranean diet. I'm vegetarian, not vegan. BUT if I consume animal products such as dairy, must be free-range, cage-free, grass-fed. & fish must be wild. On holidays, I eat whatever I want (desserts, etc) but on daily basis I avoid processed foods & sugar. -Mari
