What should we keep and what should we ditch from virtual learning? In this episode, we are diving into the topic of what virtual schools could be post-pandemic. We'll share some ideas on how virtual schools could work going forward and how we should plan for it effectively. This stemmed from a post on Twitter where the Ontario Government is proposing that virtual models are here to stay.
Podcasting is a great format for all learners, introverts and extroverts alike! All students can share their voice - their opinions, thoughts, learning, etc. Many of our students struggle with live presentations, and podcasting is a way to take away that anxiety and stress, you can simply pause and try again! This format also gives students the opportunity to prepare ahead of time, go over their material, and then record themselves when they are ready.
The Google Jamboard app is a fantastic tool that can be used in the classroom, both virtually and in-person. We will go through the features available on the Jamboard frame, and how it differs based on the device you are using.
