March 2016 Challenge - Rimmed Soap

This is for the March Soap Challenge from Great Cakes Soapworks. Thanks to Tatsiana Serko for the Tutorial & the inspiration for my soap and to Amy for a great challenge, who is always so generous with sharing her knowledge and tips. Oils: Palm, Coconut, Almond, Castor, Apricot Kernel & Avocado. I cut the rim after taking it out of the oven - 7 hrs total (2+5 hrs). The rim design was achieved by the Spin Swirl. This is my 2nd submission to a challenge. Seriously, how cool was this challenge!

Wish I had been creative with the middle of the soap but was afraid it would take away from the rim.

After I cut the rim, I had enough left over to make 8 bars of soap!
