This succulent grouping was cropped from a larger photo of various succulents. The painting began as a domination of red violet, with harmonious neighboring colors of red, red orange, violets and blues and accents of yellow orange and yellow green. It feels tropical in coloring as well as fluorescent and jewel-like, hence Succulent Jewels.
