Mural, 30,000 Islands Boat Cruise, Georgian Bay, Midland, Ontario, Canada
The third attraction on my list to do in Midland, Ontario, Canada was the 30,000 Islands Boat Cruise of the scenic Georgian Bay area. Despite the gloomy sky, it did not rain until the last portion of the cruise. There was a huge mural depicting the Sainte-Marie among the Hurons at the Midland harbour.
Georgian Bay - Ontario, Canada: Canada's vacation land. Truly stunning islands and brilliant water. This is the place to see the stars. There is no ambient light and the Milky Way looks to fall down upon you!

Historic Library, Downtown Midland, Ontario, Canada
Despite the overcast weather, we really enjoyed our visit to Midland, Ontario, Canada. Midland boasts a great mix of Aboriginal, English, French historic sites with the scenic 30,000 Islands. There are other fine attractions we did not explore, like the Huronia museum and Discovery Harbour. This historic library located in downtown Midland is really beautiful. We drove back to Mississauga for another family gathering before we left for Newfoundland.

The inside of the church was built to honor the Hurons that lived in the area. That is why it has a canoe shaped ceiling and appearance. Every corner of this church is filled with wonderful relics, windows and paintings to view. This is the Martyr's Shrine in Midland, Ontario.
