Main Library Architecture Made possible by a $75,000 bequest from industrialist Leonard Howarth, the Everett Public Library at 2702 Hoyt Avenue was designed by prominent northwest architect Carl Gould in the spring of 1933 and opened to the public on October 3rd, 1934.
2004 - Still very much a work in progress, we bring Pegasus out to join the world famous Everett Public Library Book Cart Drill Team for the Salty Sea Days parade. This is the first time since 1950 that the bookmobile Pegasus will be on the streets of Everett.

Hands on History: History Mystery (Main Library) Tuesday, April 3, 2018 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM In 40 years of collecting, the Northwest Room has accumulated thousands of images of Everett and Snohomish County beyond. Sometimes these images come with notes from their creators, but other times they are mysterious and require some sleuthing to identify them. Join Northwest Room staff and other local history enthusiasts for an evening of Hands on History, identifying mystery images.
