The Splendid Showmanship of Freddie Mercury

Freddie Mercury, 1991 Aside from being an icon in the music world for his incredible talents, he also had amazing stage presence. very theatrical and never too serious💙(he wasn't afraid to be himself).

One of my favorite photos of Freddie taken during Queen's Concert at Wembley Stadium in 1986. This picture absolutely shows his genuine passion and talent for showmanship!! You just can't get a better musician and performer than Freddie Mercury!! <3

Freddie Mercury (RIP), 5 September 1946 – 24 November Allmusic has characterised Mercury as "one of rock's greatest all-time entertainers", who possessed "one of the greatest voices in all of music".

"I can’t win. Love is Russian roulette for me. No one loves the real me (inside). They’re all in love with my fame, my stardom. I fall in love far too quickly and end up getting hurt all the time. I’ve got scars all over. But I can’t help myself because basically I’m a softie. I have this hard, macho shell — which I project on stage, but there’s a much softer side too, which melts like butter." - Freddie Mercury

"When I'm dead, I want to be remembered as a musician of some worth and substance. " ( and that he is) ~ Queen frontman Freddie Mercury
