Michelangelo. I think this is symbolic that God has his finger stretched out, yet Adam has his limp which symbolizes that if we want God, all we have to do is reach out to him.

La Pietà by Michelangelo-1499 is a masterpiece of Renaissance sculpture by Michel Angelo Buonarroti .The theme (Jesus on the lap of his Mother after the Crucifixion) is of northen origin, popular by that time in France but not yet in Italy.It is an important work as it balances the Renaissance ideals of classical beauty with naturalism.
