Refugee Action on Monday called on the UK to play a leading role in Europe on the humanitarian crisis affecting refugees fleeing war and persecution in Syria, Libya and elsewhere.
We celebrated International Women’s Day on 7 March 2014 with an event to share the achievements of women in our community. We worked with Paws for Kids, BRASS (Befriending Refugees and Asylum Seekers), Refugee Action, Bolton Hindu Forum and Bolton Council of Mosques to support groups and individuals to learn new skills and take part in free activities, put on by volunteers, across Bolton.
