The 3 dimensional packaging creates a wonderful sense of movement. The illustrations are surreal and evoke enquiry and interest. Whilst the label is extremely restrained a fantastical tone is created in the opaque blue layering.
I am a total sucker for a great bottle label. I make purchase decisions based on labels all the time. This is La Cale Wine designed by Melanie Laviolette, I am especially suckered into this design for (Jam Bottle Design)
(Motif wine packaging) This design for the logo is just a simple zig-zag pattern. However, the use of the circle and the way it cuts off the pattern at a certain point shows the viewer the 'M' in the pattern. This alignment is essential to the logo.

The simplicity of the die cut label helps draw your eye straight to the logo on the bottle, but I do think the logo should be larger. But I love how you can see through to the wine and the freshness seal matches the label.
