Canadian Centre for Health & Safety in Agriculture- Our mission is to conduct and stimulate research, education, and health promotion programs aimed at enhancing the health and well-being of agricultural, rural and remote populations.
The Injury Prevention Centre is part of the School of Public Health, University of Alberta and reports operationally to the Dean of the School, is funded by public funds through a grant from Alberta Health and is accountable to the injury stakeholders and the citizens of Alberta. The Centre staff consists of researchers, data analysts, program coordinators, educators and communicators who work with partners across Alberta to control injury.
ISASH is an organization dedicated to the professional development of agricultural safety and health professionals, providing national and international leadership in preventing agricultural injuries and illnesses to the agricultural community. ISASH provides opportunities for sharing information about research and intervention programs, improving professional skills and knowledge, networking and other supportive activities.
