Historic Temperance Street Houses otherwise known as The Four Sisters. Built in the late 1800's by Samuel Garrett for his four daughters. The houses were built with connecting interior doorways so the sisters could visit each other without going outside. It is also said that the houses sit on top of a tunnel - thought to have carried fresh water from Quidi Vidi Lake. Location - Downtown St. John's, Newfoundland.
