I spend so much time immersed in technology and costume culture that I have to balance it by getting outside. All taken by Alison Pentland with her iphone6+, I hope seeing the flora and fauna in my own neighbourhood will inspire you to get out there.
Fragrant Sumach is moderate light, low grow and native to Canada. Another good one for lovely flowers, leaves, berries and cones which attract humans and feed butterflies in summer and small animals and birds in winter. Also for Mississaugans living near forested areas, it is deer resistant. Its leaf resembles poison ivy, but this plant is non-poisonous.
