Love seeing our Rhododendrons blossoming in the spring. It's June today and this is our last red Rhododendron for
After a long harsh winter it's nice to see a spring sunrise without rain or snow. This is Moncton, New Brunswick April
Spring is my favourite time of year because everything is renewed even the dandelion. I think they are pretty and when you get up close like this they are beautiful.
Now that it's Spring in New Brunswick we are seeing more robins. This one is waiting for me to dig up more worms. Perhaps to feed their new chicks.
Took a short walk this morning in the sun and saw these beautiful daffodils.
These tiny blue star like flowers are the star of our yard in early spring right after the crocus.
This is our European Barberry bush. It has lovely orange/yellow blossoms which later turn into bright red berries for the birds during the long cold winter.
I was checking out one of our flower beds this morning. It's the middle of April and still frozen. The soil is so heavy with water that at night it freezes into these ice crystals making a very alien landscape.
Watching snow melt tunnels through huge snow piles amazed me as a kid and still does more than 50 years later.
Often I see Cedar Waxwings and robins show up in our yard in March but to me it's saying spring is very close.
Purple crocus growing in our front yard definitely says spring has arrive in Moncton. Love it when they come up in pairs like this.
When I look out the window and see Red Breasted Robins in my yard I know spring is either here or just about to burst onto the scene.
