By 1959, after having his faced sewed up once again, Plante said he would not return to the ice without it, there were no back-up goalies in those days so Blake relented.Now masks and helmets are mandatory.
The Wonder Bra was actually designed by a teen about a century ago, those were the days of corsets when women were tied up like hockey skates. But Canadian Louise Poirier is credited with developing the first Wonder Bra in 1964. The bra made women's breasts look fuller without compromising comfort.
