The Mahabodhi Temple-Bodhgaya. At This Place Prince Sidhartha maditated and obtained the Enlightenment. This is the main pilgrimage for Buddhists. Emperor Asoka is considered to be the founder of the Mahabodhi temple.
The India Gate is the national monument of India situated in the heart of New Delhi, it was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. Following India's independence, the India Gate became the site of the Indian Army's Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, known as Amar Jawan Jyoti (the flame of the immortal soldier). The Republic Day Parade starts from Rashtrapati Bhavan and passes through India Gate. The India Gate is 42-metre tall.
Qutab Minar(Delhi), is the tallest minar in India, originally an ancient Islamic Monument. The tower has 379 stairs & 72.5 meters high, and has a base diameter of 14.3 meters, which narrows to 2.7 meters at the top storey.It is made of red sandstone and marble covered with intricate carvings and verses from the Quran.
