Gorman Studios was commissioned to produce a set of hand-dyed paper wallcoverings for the feature walls of the Dhamani 1969 jewelry store in Dubai Mall. Inspired by the Dhamani brand floral motif and its historical roots, we developed a large botanical pattern that feels modern but classic. Each leaf and branch was hand cut from translucent papers, hand dyed in soft pearlescent colours. Applied indivually by our artists, the layered papers produced an organic tone-on-tone effect.
