"This is an antique, bevel-matted engraving, from an old newspaper, FRANK LESLIE'S ILLUSTRATED NEWSPAPER, published in 1884. The prints in this series are printed on what is called rag paper, an antique paper that is stronger and far more enduring than the newspaper we know today.
