The old Ivor Wynne Stadium in Hamilton, where the Hamilton Tiger Cats used to play. Much like the stadium, these gingerbread version was also demolished :) Again, having someone vacation near an M&Ms store so I could get black M&Ms made all the difference.
This was Mosaic Field in Regina, Saskatchewan, home of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Goal posts are Popeye sticks dyed yellow, field is green sugar, football made out of a peanut M&M and some royal icing.
This is Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Alberta, where the Edmonton Eskimos play. The hardest part was doing the lights that stick out from the top of the stadium. I used Popeye candy sticks and those retro yellow dot button candies that come stuck to a piece of paper.
CanadInns Stadium in Winnipeg, home to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. I create the field by making one big piece of gingerbread then using wax paper to keep the green sugar in the size of the field, add blue sugar for the end zones then draw the lines with royal icing.
This is Percival Molson Stadium in Montreal, where the Montreal Alouettes play. There's a track around the field so that's cinnamon sugar on there. A visit to the M&M store in Vegas to get grey M&Ms for the stands.
