The copper and brass statue, Toronto's World Peace Monument was designed by Peter Dykhuis. It features a scaled version of a globe with an internal water fountain. We used 3/16” plates of copper, hand forming them to create the continents of the world which were attached to the structure by hand using silver solder. A beautiful patina has developed since its 2015 installation. The project received Heritage Toronto's Award of Merit. Since 1925 we've fabricated many custom sheet metal projects.
