Home library with window seat. This stunning wall of built-ins was created by craftsman Tony O'Malley of Emmaus, PA. Love the idea of the window seat nestled in among the shelves, where you could spend hours curled up there with a book.
cute little book nook reading center for kid's bedroom or playroom - just frame favorite book covers, hang letters to spell out read, and add low shelves for kids to reach books. would like to use the ikea spice racks that are super cheap for shelving.
book storage - I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves. ~Anna Quindlen, New York Times, 7 August 1991
Favorite Part of this is to make a stepping stone path. HOW: cup salt, cup flour, cup (give or take) water. Knead until dough forms. Make impression. Bake at 200 for 3 hours. Do every summer and make a stepping stone path :) What a cute idea!
Someday we'll take Baby Swan to Disneyland or Disneyworld, and I'll be glad I saw this idea.Bring a photo mat to DISNEY for characters to sign instead of an autograph book, then take a photo of your child on vacation! What a cute idea.
Each year kids must choose ten old toys to put in their Santa bags. leave the bags under the tree on Christmas Eve. Santa takes the old toys back to the North Pole. Great way to declutter, recycle old toys, and teach the kids about giving.
Good Morning Birthday Surprise: The night before their birthday, while your child is sleeping, tape balloons all around his or her room. In the morning, they will wake up to a good morning birthday surprise.
